HEART OF A COWARD
Heart of a Coward is a British metalcore band that was formed in 2009. The band consists of vocalist Kaan Tasan, guitarists Carl Ayers and Dan Thornton, bassist Vishal „V“ Khetia, and drummer Christopher „Noddy“ Mansbridge.
The band’s music is known for its heavy and aggressive sound, which combines elements of metalcore, deathcore, and djent. They are also known for incorporating melodic elements into their music, creating a balance between heaviness and melody.
Heart of a Coward released their debut album, „Hope and Hindrance“ in 2012, which received critical acclaim and helped establish the band’s sound and style. They have since released several other albums, including „Severance“ (2013), „Deliverance“ (2015), and „The Disconnect“ (2019).
Now they will come back in 2023 with album #5 “This Place only brings Death”. Although we at Heart Of A Coward can say that the Metalcore heavyweights are quite tough, they show us a different side with their latest release in a refreshing way. With the poignant output „Decay“ they demonstrate to us that they won’t be leaving our playlists anytime soon! The five English guys have once again brought us electrifying content from overseas.
Their music has gained a significant following, particularly in the UK metal scene, and they continue to be a prominent force in the genre.

THECITYISOURS are a 5-piece metal band from the capital who have quickly garnered attention and growing support from peers, industry and fans alike, with their high-octane live show and the success of their debut album, ‘LOW’ (2019) which smashed into the top 5 iTunes metal charts with several singles appearing in editorial playlists with the likes of Amazon, Deezer and Spotify (Including 2 covers on New Core and Metal UK) supporting the band.
2019 was a very busy year for City, with appearances at a slew of UK festivals including Camden Rocks, Macmillan Fest, Burn It Down, Holloween, a fly in appearance at High Fives Summer Festival in Sweden, a headline set in the Doghouse Tent at the revered Download Festival to a 4000+ audience of festival-goers in June, and a sold-out album release show at Boston Music Rooms in London.
Following the departure of long-standing vocalist Sam Stolliday in early 2020, the band unexpectedly found themselves in unknown territory. Now nearly 2 years on they are back with brand new music, a signing to respected German alternative/metal label Arising Empire, and the introduction of new vocalist Oli Duncanson, ready to welcome a brand new era of City with the release of their sophomore album ‚COMA‘, following a slew of single releases, many surpassing 100k Youtube views and gaining Spotify, Deezer and Amazon editorial playlisting, with ‚Violent‘, reaching #1 in iTunes Metal Chart, the title track ‚COMA‘ featuring on Triple J Radio, and multiple singles being played on Alex Baker’s Fresh Blood show as well as receiving regular playlisting on Kerrang! Radio’s ‚K Nights‘ show.
